Accurately scan patient care documents and records in a timely manner. Retrieves and files all records. Assembles and analyzes each medical record according to established procedure for discharge analysis. Responsible for assigning Incomplete Records Reasons electronically to aid in the discharge analysis process.
Responsible for obtaining ambulatory surgery schedules. Coordinates required documentation necessary for ambulatory surgery. Purges old medical records following strict Minnesota State Regulations. Runs weekly patient reports. Uses computer skills to retrieve and find information regarding status of records.
