Scope of Practice: Adult and pediatric patients with diseases of the head and neck, including a full range of medical and surgical treatment of middle and inner ear disease, hearing loss or ringing in the ears, nasal obstruction, sinus and allergy disease, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, vocal disorders (hoarseness), salivary gland and neck cancer, snoring, sleep apnea, velopharyngeal insufficiency. Common surgical procedures include ventilating ear tubes, middle ear reconstruction, chronic ear disease, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasy, rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, uvulopalatoplasty (for snoring), sleep apnea surgery, endocrine surgery (thyroid and parathyroid), salivary gland surgery, neck and voice surgeries.
