Radiologic Technologist

Find your purpose getting answers for patients and those who treat them.  As a Rad Tech at CentraCare – Benson, you’ll deliver picture-perfect care using X-Ray and CT.

Position Details

  • Part-Time to Full-Time position available.
  • Rotating nights, weekends, and holiday call.

What you will do:

  • Perform radiographic procedures and a variety of technical procedures using existing imaging equipment on patients of all ages.
  • Apply ionizing radiation to provide diagnostic results for the purposes of patient care.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and the ability to work effectively with patients, their families, personnel staff, and public.
  • Maintain current knowledge in working with newborn through geriatric patients.
  • Demonstrates Family Centered Care principles and patient safety when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
  • Exercises professionalism and apply principles of radiation protection.
  • Provides essential patient care within established principles and guidelines.
  • Read and interpret physician orders and documents to follow procedures and directions.
  • Must be able to respond to on-call situations and function within a rotating call schedule.

What you need:

  • Successful completion of a formal radiography program from an accredited school.  (2-year Associate of Science or bachelor’s degree)
  • New grads are welcome to apply!
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified or ARRT eligible or must be certified within 6 months.
  • Additional specialized modality certification(s) preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform general and specialized radiographic imaging procedures in multiple care settings including clinic, urgent care, emergency room, surgery, and other hospital and clinic settings.

An Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software used for digital imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with the ability to complete written documents.
  • Able to work in an area characterized by frequent change and interruptions.
  • Seeks assistance when appropriate to ensure patient safety.
  • Has flexibility and personal integrity.

Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor

 Find your purpose with CentraCare-Benson by joining our maintenance team as a Maintenance Supervisor! This position will be responsible for providing all technical and administrative duties assigned to the maintenance department to assure a good appearance, and safe and secure buildings and grounds for those we serve.

Position Details

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
  • Participates in a rotating call schedule that includes nights, holidays, and weekends.

Education and Licenses

  • Associate degree in HVAC or related field preferred.
  • Second Class C Boiler’s License required upon hire or within 6 months of hire.

Experience

  • Technical knowledge in boiler operation, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, and communication systems.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Individual initiative and discretion in carrying out job duties especially in the area of customer relations.
  • Professional and courteous customer service skills.
