Auxiliary

Swift County - Benson Hospital Auxiliary is active in helping to maintain and improve the hospital’s equipment and facilities, as an active subcommittee of the SCBH Foundation. Annual activities throughout the year include fundraising and public education events.

Annual Events Sponsored by the SCBH Auxiliary:

Annual Summer Golf Event The 2nd Sunday of August each year, the Auxiliary will hosts its Annual Golf Classic at the Benson Golf Course.  Besides an afternoon of golf, there is more fun in the evening.  We have an awards dinner for everyone after the fun in the sun. Plus, the Auxiliary works all year collecting dozens of prizes to give away at the evening event.  Sign up early, this event is usually sold out early.  To sign up call the Hospital at 320-843-4232.

“Learn for Life” Program This event is our gift to you.  The most recent events hosted were Make and Take craft nights that also included a discussion and/or presentation on a current health care topic with a Swift County – Benson Health Services healthcare professional. This evening event is usually held in the fall.  Watch this website or the SCBHS calendar in the paper for information.  Past topics discussed were: women’s health, osteoporosis, colon cancer, diabetes, healthy eating, and cholesterol.

Memberships: Memberships to the SCBH Auxiliary are $10 a year or $100 for an individual life membership. Yearly memberships for the Auxiliary for businesses or organizations is $50 a year or $500 for a lifetime membership. Contact SCBH Auxiliary Board Members or the hospital for more information.
