PharmacySwift County Benson Health Services pharmacy personnel are an integral part of your health care team helping deliver the best possible care through a multidisciplinary patient centered team approach. They are responsible for maintaining adequate medication supplies, preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, providing sterile product preparation for intravenous therapy, monitoring adverse drug reactions, providing patient and staff education, and supervising all medication storage and preparation. Our pharmacists also review home medications with patients, check laboratory values, recommend dose adjustments and determine the best and safest medications for our patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

The pharmacy is staffed Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by a licensed staff pharmacist and pharmacy technician. SCBHS contracts with Avera eCARE to provide ePharmacy Services after regular hours and on weekends. SCBHS physicians and staff have access to skilled pharmacists during all hours to ensure our patients are provided with the highest quality care at all times.
